Orders & Shipping
When will my order ship?
We pride ourselves on fast dispatch and process orders throughout the day from our warehouse in Perth, Western Australia.
Orders placed before 3:00 PM AEST / 1:00 PM AWST on a business day are picked, packed, and dispatched the same day. Orders placed after the cut-off time will be dispatched on the next business day.
Orders are shipped Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
How long will delivery take?
Delivery times vary depending on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout.
We offer several shipping options within Australia so you can choose the service that best suits your needs:

Australia Post Standard is our most economical shipping option and is suitable for customers who are not in a hurry.
Australia Post Express offers faster delivery to most metropolitan areas and is a good middle ground between speed and cost.
StarTrack Premium is our fastest shipping service and is recommended for customers who want the quickest possible delivery.

International delivery times vary by destination and will be displayed at checkout where available.
All orders are dispatched from our warehouse in Perth, Western Australia.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship to most countries worldwide.
Delivery times vary depending on the destination country and shipping service selected at checkout.
For customers in the United States, all applicable import duties and taxes are prepaid by us, meaning you will not be required to pay any additional customs charges when your order arrives.
For customers in other countries, import duties, taxes, customs fees, and other charges imposed by local authorities may apply and are the responsibility of the recipient. As these charges vary by country, we recommend checking with your local customs authority if you are unsure.
All international orders include tracking so you can follow your parcel's journey from dispatch through to delivery.
How can I track my order?
Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and tracking link.
My tracking hasn't updated. Is something wrong?
Not necessarily.
Tracking updates can occasionally take 24–72 hours to appear after dispatch. It is also common for parcels to travel between sorting facilities without receiving scans at every location.
If your tracking has not updated for an extended period, please contact us and we'll be happy to investigate.
Can I change my delivery address after placing an order?
Possibly.
If your order has not yet been packed or dispatched, we are able to update the address. Once a parcel has been shipped, address changes are often no longer possible.
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make a change.
Do you offer local pickup?
No. Ausmodshop is an online-only retailer and does not offer local pickup or in-store shopping.
Returns & Refunds
Can I return an item if I change my mind?
We accept change-of-mind returns for eligible products provided they are returned in brand-new, unopened condition with all original packaging and factory seals intact.
Products that have been opened, used, installed, modified, or damaged are not eligible for return as they can no longer be sold as new.
What if I ordered the wrong product?
If the item remains unopened and in brand-new condition, please contact us as soon as possible and we'll advise whether a return can be arranged.
Who pays return shipping costs?
Unless the return relates to a warranty issue, incorrect item supplied, or another error on our part, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
When will I receive my refund?
Refunds are typically processed within 1–3 business days of the returned item being received and inspected.
Depending on your payment provider, it may take additional time for the funds to appear in your account.
Products
Are all products genuine?
Yes. We source products directly from manufacturers, authorised distributors, or approved regional partners.
Are your products brand new?
Yes. All products sold by Ausmodshop are brand new unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Which mouse skates should I choose?
The ideal skate depends on your preferred glide characteristics and mousepad surface.
Generally:
- PTFE offers a balanced glide suitable for most users.
- UPE typically provides lower friction and increased speed.
- Dot skates allow greater customisation and reduced surface contact.
If you're unsure, contact our team and we'll happily provide a recommendation.
Will aftermarket mouse skates void my warranty?
Installing aftermarket skates does not automatically void warranty coverage.
However, any damage caused during installation or removal may not be covered.
How often should I replace mouse skates?
Replacement intervals vary significantly depending on:
- Usage hours
- Mousepad surface
- User pressure
- Skate material
Many users replace skates anywhere from several months to several years after installation.
Are glass mousepads suitable for all mice?
Most modern gaming mice work exceptionally well on glass mousepads.
However, glass surfaces generally increase skate wear compared to cloth mousepads, and some users may prefer control-focused cloth surfaces instead.
Pre-Orders
How do pre-orders work?
Pre-orders allow you to reserve stock before it arrives.
Estimated arrival dates are provided based on information supplied by manufacturers and distributors.
Can pre-order dates change?
Yes. Estimated arrival dates are subject to change due to manufacturing schedules, freight delays, customs processing, and other factors outside our control.
Can I cancel a pre-order?
In most cases, yes. Please contact our support team and we'll advise the available options.
What happens if my order contains both in-stock and pre-order items?
Unless otherwise stated, orders containing pre-order items are generally held and shipped together once all items are available.
