Sustainability at Ausmodshop

At Ausmodshop, we’re always looking for practical ways to reduce waste and operate more responsibly, while still getting your orders packed safely and shipped quickly.

Since our inception, we’ve been actively transitioning away from plastic packaging. This includes investing in paper tape machines, switching to cardboard-based packaging, and using kraft paper or honeycomb paper for void fill instead of plastic alternatives.

We work to keep our packaging efficient by using appropriately sized boxes and satchels, helping reduce excess materials and wasted space during shipping. All of our boxes are custom-designed by our team to suit the most common products and order combinations we ship, ensuring a more precise fit and minimising unnecessary packaging.

We use recycled board grades across our custom cartons wherever suitable, helping reduce the demand for newly produced raw materials while still maintaining the strength and protection needed for safe shipping.

Where possible, we reuse clean supplier cartons and packing materials for outgoing orders. This helps reduce unnecessary packaging waste and gives materials a second life before they’re recycled.

We only use plastic packaging when absolutely necessary, for example, with certain glass mouse pads that require additional protection, and even then, these materials are sourced from recycled plastics wherever possible.

While we’re not perfect, we believe small, consistent improvements can make a meaningful difference over time.
