Smooth and Fast
"I never got the first MasterPiece, but do have the Mecha to compare. The V2 is much smoother, probably smoother than I typically like with the spandex style surface. Certainly no need for a sleeve on this one. Speed is good, at the top end of 'balanced-speed' pads, so good for tracking and rhythm. Using both PTFE full skates and Artisan dots, and found that dynamic and static friction is well balanced. I mainly play Rivals, and this pad did not hold me back. Base is reasonably soft and absorbent, so heavy hands will certainly bottom-out a set of dots. Would probably stick to doughnuts or full skates for this one if you palm grip. The print quality is nice, like the rest of their pads I have tried. The waifu design is not for everyone, but she is cute and not too garish. This pad is the single stinkiest pad I have ever had the misfortune of opening. My arm and my mouse now smell. It has taken over a week, and the pad still stinks of rubber. Nasty. Be warned."
