Incredible speed that remains precise under pressure. Push into a flick and gain just enough tactility when it matters most.
Plateau-sculpted
The surface is cut into flat-topped plateaus with valleys running between them. The flat tops only make up 6.5% of the surface, yet those are the only parts you'll glide on. Your skin feels the valleys, so it glides seamlessly. The result: a surface that is tactile and smooth at the same time.
Double etch process
The surface is built up in two separate etch stages. This is what gives Apex the smooth, flat topped texture across the whole surface.
Dual layer coating system
A nano layer is embedded in the glass, acting as a friction-lowering layer, then mixed with an ion coating that strengthens it. They work in harmony to ensure durability and slickness are built from the same surface, so one is not traded for the other.
Edgeless design
There is no raised lip or sharp edge to catch onto. The wrist and forearm contact the surface, not an edge.
500 x 450 x 1.5 mm glass
Large enough for low sensitivity play, so wide flicks stay on glass.
