"X-Raypad Obsidian skates where recommended to me for use on my SP-004. The doughnuts offer a greater stability over PTFE dots, the glide is nearly identical and can recommend if your running a glass pads and MED/LRG mouse over regular PTFE dots."

"On an artisan hien soft, it feels slightly less smooth and you can feel the surface texture of the pad more. These have more control on a smoother pad but again you can feel the surface texture grabbing the skates more, which is what gives that control feel."
